Interval training is one way to attain your fitness goals in half the time. This is not a myth, as long as during the time you are training you are really pushing yourself. Interval training provides weight loss results the fastest, due to the combination of strength training muscle toning and fat blasting cardio. Interval training can be attained by adding short bursts of cardio to your usual strength training routine. Rather than resting, just add one minute intervals of cardio between each set of reps you complete during weight training.
Your minute can be anything from sprinting on a treadmill, doing high-knees standing in place, jump roping, or even jumping jacks.
