Often times during the week, we find ourselves hungry and wondering what we should eat. When this happens, it is so easy to drive to your nearest fast food restaurant or grab that donut you have been eyeing in the break room. Solve this problem by preparing your food a week in advance.
A week you say!!! Yes. Planning ahead and having some healthy snacks on hand will eliminate those weak moments. Sit down at some point during the weekend, and decide what you would like to have during the week. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and even snacks. Figure out what ingredients you will need, visit the store, and prepare. Get into the habit of this and you will be amazed at how well you begin to eat.
But what if I can't prepare for the entire week? It is okay if you can't prepare a whole week of food in advance. Prepare a few days at a time or even a day in advance. The key is to get into the habit of meal preparation. Developing this healthy habit will get you on track to accomplish your goals.
